November 2020 – The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), through USEC Atty Emily Padilla, has partnered with Resellee to provide Marketing and Sales support of COOPs / Farmers’ fresh produce. Around1,440 enterprises are also expected to onboard to easily distribute fresh fruits, vegetables, and other agricultural products directly to consumers using Reselee’s dropshipping business model.
The country’s Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) is in charge of the direction and coordination of the national agrarian reform program. The agency also formulates and enacts policies, plans, and programs for the distribution and cultivation of all agricultural lands. Recently, The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) was commended by the Office of the President (OP) for its quick action on citizen’s complaints on public service. “The DAR is grateful for the recognition from the Office of the President and we will continue to strive hard to bring the government closer to our stakeholders and to the people,” Secretary Brother John Castriciones said.
“During these trying times, farmers proved to the country that they play a very important role in ensuring food sufficiency. You are tasked to look after their welfare. Give our farmers assistance, support and let us empower them,” Brother John reminded the DAR officers during the agency’s virtual oath-taking. In his speech, Brother John reminded the newly appointed officials of their obligation to serve with integrity and to discharge their duties with utmost efficiency, honesty, and competence.
